Simon Doubtful For Levante’s Vs Real.
Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon, is doubtful for Levante’s Spanish La Liga opening day clash against Real Betis at the Estadio Benito Villamarín, Sevilla, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Simon, according to a statement published on Levante’s official website, copped a muscular injury in the club’s pre-season friendly against Real Zaragoza last weekend.
“The medical tests carried out on Moses Simon confirmed that the attacker has some muscular discomfort in the quadriceps of the right leg,” reads the statement “These discomforts came from the game he played against Real Zaragoza at the Stadium of La Romareda during the past weekend. The Nigerian player will perform individualized work in the coming days.”
The winger recently linked up with Levante from Belgian club, KAA Gent. He missed out on a place in Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia due to injury.
